Almost Here!

So tomorrow is the day we've all been waiting for...well, I guess just me. My invisalign aligners have arrived and I have an 11:40 appointment tomorrow to get them! I'm nervous to start this journey to see exactly what it's like, but happy to finally be starting! I wore the trainer aligners for awhile to get used to them when I last updated the blog, but with a Florida vacation, I haven't been wearing them lately so we'll see how tomorrow goes. I'm already being proactive by taking ibuprofen to help with the pain I'm sure I'll experience tomorrow. Saturday will be my first real true test. I have a cookout to attend during the day and then heading into the city for the Red Sox game. I'm supposed to wear my aligners for 20-22 hours a day so that only leaves me 2-4 hours with them off. I'm hoping to wear my aligners for 22 hours each day, just to try to stay ahead of them. If possible, I'd like to finish my treatment sooner than later. I'm scheduled for 12 months but would love to wear them less. Only time will tell 😃 

In personal news, I currently am unemployed so at least the invisalign won't be a bother for teaching. It's a long story but hopefully I will be back in the classroom soon!
